Through language acquisition instructional theory, we will be working four major pillars of language: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. These components will be developed simultaneously to avoid learning the language in isolation and empower you to apply the learning to your immediate surroundings.
We will also be focusing on developing your knowledge of the cultural components that make speaking English interactive and relevant as you seek to understand in order to be understood by English speakers.

We ask that students purchase the book elected for the course, a compact, dependable bilingual-English dictionary and a conversation guide to provide immediate access to language support.
